Busy,
vibrant and truly multicultural, London is a megalopolis of people, ideas and
frenetic energy. Situated on the River Thames with population of a little over
8 million London’s got something for everyone. Whether you decide to spend here
few days or longer period of time, follow our guide to what to see and do while
in London.
Sightseeing
Our
recommended tour starts near Hyde Park where you can stroll for hours watching
birds or canoeing on the lake. During some months, sun chairs are available and
people take advantage of the beautiful sunny weather and enjoy having picnic in
grass. After Hyde Park, continue onto Buckingham Palace to see the Queen’s
official guard which starts every day at 11a.m.
From there,
you can head towards Westminster to see the Cathedral, Parliament and famous
Big Ben, which is one of the landmarks of London. From Big Ben cross to the
other side of River Thames to enjoy some of the major attractions of UK’s
capital. Do not forget that your sightseeing tour can be done by foot within
two hours.
London Eye
It is a
giant observation wheel on the south bank, which is the most visited London’s
attraction. Visitors can get the 360 degrees view of London in one of its 32
sealed capsules. You can also book a private capsule for your friends and
family or create personal experience by combining selection of food and drinks.
The possibility of wine/chocolate tours or private dining can be also
organized.
While at the
London Eye, do not forget to pay a visit to an amazing 4D experience where you
will see, hear and taste beyond. For
more information regarding the prices and packages, please visit the official
website
https://www.londoneye.com. London Eye can
be easily reached via public transportation from Waterloo, Embankment, Charing
Cross and Westminster.
Shops
Almost
anything you could possibly want to buy is available in London. Its flagship
store, Harrods in Knightsbrige once famously boasted they could source anything
you could desire from anywhere in the world – at a price. In Central London,
the main shopping district is the West End (Oxford St, Regent St, Bond St, and
Covent Garden).
Some of the
world's most luxurious designer stores such as Cartier, D&G, Jimmy Choo,
Louis Vuitton and Versace are sited here. You can also found here some of the
high street brands such as H&M, Zara, Primark, TopShop and others. Some
Londoners prefer not to shop along Oxford Street and eschew "shopping in
town" in favour of local malls.
